morning train

March 31, 2008

Heh heh, I’m gonna sing ‘Morning Train (9 to 5)’ on the train/tram one day. I love it!

Should’ve gone for Maroon5+OneRepublic+RyCuming+BRANDICARLILE. Heard it was good (:

Instead, I stayed home to wait for the housemate in case the concert ended too late. And then all I got was screaming from the next room at 2am. Geez. I was so tired. Not like I left the blinds up on purpose. I was gonna figure out how to pull it down today. GEEEEEZ.

S’okay, I’ll just listen to BCB’s vinyl to feel better.

p.s. kim+tash, yessss, please train down to melbourne.

Omg.

I don’t feel like going to uni tomorrow

because I feel like I’ve had heavy metal poisoning.

Last night I had a dream that made me go “dayum, it wasn’t real?!?! oh. …dayum.” in the morning. It was even cooler than my Star Wars and bending-the-space-time-continuum-to-travel-between-inter-galatic-portals dreams.

Anyhoo that was totally random and moving on, Switchfoot’s ‘Up In Arms’ American tour has started.

S’pity they’re not coming here. (Zhen and pet, you should totally go if they’re coming to your town.)

The ‘To Write Love On Her Arms’ movement is one I really support, not because it’s hip or cool, but because it hits so close to home, I guess. Check it out if you don’t already know what it’s about. I was moved to tears when I first read Renee’s story.

“We often ask God to show up.
We pray prayers of rescue.
Perhaps God would ask us to be that rescue,
to be His body, to move for things that matter.

I might be simple but more and more,
I believe that God works in love,
speaks in love,
is revealed in our love.
We are only asked to love, to offer love to the many hopeless.”

I really wanna sleep. But I have a lot of nothing on my mind.

Like, why am I colourblind?
