Mum’s on the plane home.

Dad’s somewhere in Bendigo preaching.

Sis is away visiting her new best friend.

I’m feeling very ‘Sylvia hotel’ and I’m crapping my pants about tomorrow’s exam.

And this is a lonely life

Let there be no judgment when I say what I have to say.

I watch Korean dramas.

Hahaha, please! Before you throw stones and point and laugh! In my defense, I get hooked only when Mum comes here and watches them while doing housework. And I must make it very clear, I sit through (but also fast-forward any slow tear drop scenes) those painfully e l a b o r a t e series because I can’t stand not knowing the end of stories. (NO, Chae, it’s not because I secretly deep down in my secret heart love romantic melodramas!!) I find it fascinating how one person can have two car accidents, go blind and amnesic, fall in love with a half-sister/brother, then find out they’re really not siblings, only to have that not-sibling die of leukemia… all in one series.

Oh, but there is one Korean movie I’ll admit to reveling in: The Classic. Whoo, it really is The Classic. Directed by the maker of ‘My Sassy Girl’. I shamelessly cry my heart out whenever I watch it.

The Lau Family has a whole drawer dedicated to Mum’s Korean drama series. Does anyone want to come over during the holidays and cry with me? Open invitation.
